Wheretoget
Cheif Content Editor
Wheretoget was a shoppable fashion app with an online magazine to inspire users with the latest styles.
I began working at Wheretoget as a copywriter in March 2016 and was promoted to Copy Editor later that year. After working closely with my predecessor for several months as Deputy Editor, I eventually become Chief Content Editor.
As Deputy, I not only continued to write and edit for the magazine, but helped with editorial strategy and scheduling. I also trained new staff on the in-house CMS and learned indispensable SEO skills along the way.
When I took over as Chief Content Editor, I implemented my own editorial strategies that saw some success. These included creating more social media-focused articles to keep up with growing demand for UGC and employing an illustrator to produce stylish, original content for our young audience.
Throughout my time at Wheretoget, my priorities were creating a strong style guide that would appeal to a young demographic without compromising on quality, and ensuring that every article represented a diverse range of people through the subject matters, images and shoppable links.
